Wall Hanging Plates for a Traditional Feature Wall
Decorative plates are one of the easiest ways to add colour and culture to a wall. Our plates are made from ceramic and painted by hand, many in the Multani kashi kari style with cobalt blue and turquoise, and others with Sufi, Rumi, truck art and nature motifs. Hang one as an accent or group several into a feature wall above a sofa, dining table or console.
Start with the largest plate in the centre at eye level, then place smaller plates around it, keeping a gap of about 5 to 8 cm between them. Lay the plates out on the floor first, or trace them on paper and tape the paper to the wall, before drilling. Use proper plate hangers or wall hooks rated for the weight of ceramic. Our article on plate wall decor ideas has more layouts and hanging tips.
Single hand-painted wall hanging plates are Rs 1,350, the Turkish plate is Rs 1,799, and sets of wall plates are Rs 9,500.
How do I hang decorative plates on the wall?
Use plate hangers or sturdy wall hooks suited to the weight of ceramic. Plan the layout on the floor or on paper first, with the largest plate in the centre.
Are the plates handmade?
Yes. Each plate is made from ceramic and painted by hand, so colours and brushwork vary slightly from piece to piece.
Can I use decorative plates for food?
These plates are made for wall and table decor. For serving food, choose from our blue pottery serving dishes and dinner sets.
Do you deliver wall plates safely?
Yes. Plates are packed carefully for safe delivery, with cash on delivery across Pakistan.
